You've been there, done that. Where should others go – and avoid – next year?
We know, the tantalizing scent of roasting turkey is already wafting across the country. The last reds and golds of fall are fluttering to the ground, and morning walks are getting colder – at least here in the DC area where the Parks Channel makes its home.
For people who love national parks and other public lands, this is the quiet before the storm. The minute the bubbly goes flat from the holiday season, the race to plan spring and summer travel begins. Permits from the National Park Service typically become available six months in advance and get snapped up fast, which means that January and February are critical times for figuring out where you want to go in 2025. We want to help – and we need YOUR help to do so!
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be tapping into our creator network to put together comprehensive EARLY BIRD planning features, separated geographically by region. We know that the best advice always comes from those who’ve tread the ground before us. If you had a great (or even terrible) experience traveling in one of these regions, we’d love to hear your story! We’ll select the best entries to appear on the Parks Channel website and call them out on social media.
For each region we’ll also be selecting a random winner to receive a $100 gift card.
